This year we won the Best Company to Work for in Car Finance at the Car Finance Awards! This annual awards ceremony is to celebrate the UK’s best dealers, lenders and brokers for their work across that year, and this year we were showcased for our award-winning culture.
We take employee satisfaction very seriously and we want everyone who works at Moneybarn to love working here – but most importantly to enjoy what they do. We do this by creating a friendly and welcoming environment that ensures everyone who steps through our doors feels at home.
To truly understand how our staff feel we complete the Best Companies workplace engagement survey every year, which is completely anonymous allowing us to know what our employees really think about our company.
There are many things we do to ensure employees are kept in the loop and are at their happiest, whilst also allowing our employees to grow and develop as individuals.
Every month we hold a townhall where all employees are invited for an hour to gather and learn about all the goings on within the business. A multitude of different teams as well as our Executive Board will talk at this meeting.
We’ve also recently trained a team of individuals to become Mental Health First Aiders, they are distinguishable from their green lanyards, as normally the team wear blue. This means that if any one of our colleagues is struggling, whether that be within work or at home, the Mental Health First Aiders will take time to speak to them and help where they can.
We also have a strong focus on our learning and development as a company, but also on every individual. We strongly urge people to go on courses to aid their personal development. We want our employees to be the best they can be.
